I mean, really, can God talk anymore clearly to me through 1 Peter. Day after day He is talking to me directly through these books. I pray every Sunday on my way to church that WellSpring would be a light in the darkness, drawing in people that need the light. Reading this today was further confirmation that we are being used by God to fill the void that the darkness creates. Are we ready for this? Are we ready to abandon the patterns of this life to be the light that Jesus has called us to be? I know that I am tired of sitting back and waiting to feel that God is using me or calling me to something. As of today, I am forging ahead, committing to do something different, allowing myself to be used, not waiting to see if I will be. I will be the light, shining Jesus in the way that I live, the words I say, and choices I make. Who's with me?
