The way that Jo Saxton describe the first hearers of Jesus' teachings in this passage, reminds me so much not only of our current society, but where we are as WellSpring Community Church. We have been through so much, and been challenged immensely, but Jesus is calling us to turn it ALL upside-down. Leave behind the old, and rise up to change the world, treat others not as the world treats them, but as God treats them, as God sees them. Do life, church, family, faith differently! This is how we create Kingdom here on Earth, this is how we allow others to see Jesus, this is how we can be THE church.
