"We don't need the 'dead works', we just need to serve the Living God." I love this idea. The illustration of dead and living is so powerful, and hit me at the heart, realizing that God is ALIVE, and just wants us to serve, worship, love, follow him. Nothing else will satisfy. We can do all the rituals that we want, sacrifice all that we want, but He already made the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus entered once for ALL into the holy place, so that we can now live in his grace and peace, basking in the LIFE he gives.
